United States ambassador, Edwin C. Wilson was born in 1893 in Palatka, Florida. In 1920, Wilson began his extensive dipolmatic carerer by joining the foreign services. Througout the span of his career, he held numerous positions including such positions as U.S. Minister to Uruguay, U.S. Ambassador to Panama, and U.S. Ambassador to Turkey. As President Franklin D.
